Coming Attractions
Look forward to a full VIDEO review of KDE 4. Many things simply cannot be captured with screenshots alone, and I hope this helps somewhat. I don't know when this will be, but assume very end of August to early September.

iPhone Bill
This doesn't need explaining. Just watch. (I accept no responsibility for Jaw Damage after watching this video)
Note: This used to be a Revver video from Justine, it sort of overflowed into the sidebar, messing things up, so I decided to test out the Blogger video widget on it. You can see the original video here.

KDE 4 Beta 1 Review
This page used to contain a review of KDE 4 Beta 1. However, under the following circumstances, I have decided to take it down:
- After examination, I was using KDE 4 3.91, an alpha release.
- The Live CD I used in the review was not at all usable, leading me to believe something was wrong.

ToasterOS
Toasters are simple devices that can no longer be the butt of my malformed jokes. Toasters should toast bread, and nothing else. They should not run Unix, BSD, Linux, etc. They should toast bread, and that should be it.

I froze hell.
Don't ask how, I managed to FUBAR my Linux system. (Note to self: It's Raising Skinny Elephants Is Utterly Boring). Don't expect much of me for a little bit. As a side note, I just noticed that Newegg.com is now selling Cell Phones from AT&T wireless. No iPhone though.

Safari for Windows!!!???
I do believe that hell has frozen over. Safari for Windows. I'll just pause to let that sink in. Safari is, in my opinion, one of the better web browsers out there. However, I still do not understand why Apple needs to release Safari for Windows. The second browser wars (IE vs. Firefox) are already in full force, so why do people need Safari for Windows? I would love to hear your feedback, so leave your thoughts in the comments.

Make a suggestion
It has occurred to me through a variety of e-mails that some people would like to make a suggestion for a review. I have created a form that will allow you to do just that. Just Suggest an App!

A shot survey...
In my japanese class, the topic somehow turned to Web Browsers (as long as it's in japanese, we can pretty much say anything we want). The following is the results, taken from my cell phone (note to the overzealous: I took this after the last bell rang, when we are allowed by our school to turn our cell phones on.)
For those unfamilliar with Japanese "Tally marks", Each Stroke is the same as one tally. For the impatient, IE - 6, Firefox - 10.

In other news, G4TV has aquired TWiT. Leo will be moving to Canada as part of the aquisition. The website has already started the transition, featuring a new Favicon ("

Shameless plugs
I'm going to give out a few shameless plugs in response the masses (as in 17) of e-mail I've been getting lately. This will become a Q&A, but Blogger isn't fancy like WordPress, and I'm too lazy to convert everything over the WordPress (And yes, I've tried the converter. It doesn't work very well.) Ahem. So here it is: Q: Do you really use Linux? What distro? What Desktop Environment? etc... A: Yes, I use Linux. I am an extremely happy user of Kubuntu, which means I also use KDE. Q: What's your Mantra? A: My Mantra is "Just say no to Microsoft (and Microsoft, and Sony, etc.)" Q: Do you obsess over anything? A: I obsess over potatoes, and anything Linux, Kubuntu, or KDE related. Q: What kind of computer do you use? A: The computer I'm using currently is one that I custom built. The Basic Specs include:
- AMD Athlon X2
- ATI All-In-Wonder 2006
- ASUSTeK M2N4-SLI Mobo
- Seagate Barracuda 200GB Serving as my Home and Media Directories
- Western Digital Caviar 400GB Hard Drive Serving as my everything else drive
- Dual DVD Burners
- Translucent Blue Case with UV Blue Cold-Cathode Lighting

Now I know why windows is so bloated...
I was feeling kind of board during my mid-winter vacation from school, so I was hacking around windows. I many of the files that are part of windows, I found bitmaps for old versions of XP, pre SP1. I even found files in the default screensaver that still said Windows codename Whistler. Microsoft could learn a lot from my grandmother.

Paint also has toolbars and icons from old versions:

Minesweeper also has icons from older versions (I rotated the strip clockwise to save space):

Explorer also has a few oldies (Some of them may be rotated as well):

Hack through the executables in your own system using the XN Resource Editor.

From the Panasony department of things...
I found this in one of those Magic Claw machines at a Friendly's. I apologize for the bad photo quality, I didn't have a camera so I took it with my cell phone.
